Vice-Chancellor's Office

The Vice-Chancellor is the principal academic and administrative officer of the University. Professor Stephen Toope was formally admitted as the 346th Vice-Chancellor on 2 October 2017.

The Vice-Chancellor is nominated by the University Council (the principal executive and policy-making body) from among an international field, and elected by the Regent House - the University's governing body and electoral constituency, numbering more than 5,000 academics and senior administrators.
